Terms of use
Xortal is a brand of Axpeiron Entertainment Private Limited. Xortal is a technology platform that lets event organisers sell tickets and manage entry. Events listed on Xortal are organised, run and controlled by their organisers, not by us.
For ticket buyers: your ticket is a contract between you and the event's organiser. Prices, entry rules, age limits and changes to the event are the organiser's responsibility and are shown on each event page. All ticket sales are final: once purchased, tickets cannot be refunded or cancelled unless the event is cancelled or postponed (see Refunds & cancellations). Each QR code admits one person once. Keep your tickets private; we can't help if someone else uses a ticket you shared. If you're under 18, a parent or guardian should buy tickets for you and accepts these terms on your behalf. The price shown on an event page is the total you pay: there is no booking fee.
Online ticket payments are collected by Xortal through Razorpay on the organiser's behalf. Refunds of online payments are made only by Xortal: when an event is cancelled, on request when an event is postponed, or when a ticket can't be issued.
For organisers: you are responsible for your events, the accuracy of your listings, holding every permission and licence your event needs (for example venue, police, music and liquor licences), setting ticket prices that include GST and all other charges, keeping your business address and customer care number (shown to buyers) up to date, honouring tickets you sell, telling buyers and Xortal straight away if your event is cancelled or postponed, taxes on your sales and complying with the law, and for activity in your account and by your staff logins. Xortal charges a commission on every paid ticket (online, at the gate and issued directly; complimentary tickets are free), at the rates shown in your dashboard when the ticket is sold. Where your dashboard shows it, a payment processing fee also applies to online ticket sales, and GST is added to our fees at the rate required by law. Rates can differ for online and for gate or direct sales, and we email you whenever your fees change; tickets already sold keep the terms they were sold at. We pay your online ticket revenue, less our fees on all channels, refunds and any tax we are required to withhold, to your verified bank account after your event ends, on the schedule shown in your dashboard. We may hold a payout while we investigate fraud, a payment dispute (chargeback) or a cancelled event, and recover from you any amount a buyer's bank reverses after you were paid. Refunds of online payments are decided and made by Xortal.
We may suspend accounts or take down event pages that are fraudulent, unlawful, infringe others' rights, or put buyers at risk.
The platform is provided as is. To the extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for the cancellation, quality or conduct of any event.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Questions: hello@xortal.com.
